What we do with your files: almost nothing.
Like a letter you send, your files just pass through us on their way to someone else — we don’t open them, read them, or keep them. The one thing we do is give everything a quick virus check, to protect whoever’s receiving it. That is all.

Is Vidual Send really free?
Yes. Send up to 2 GB per transfer, with no account and no install. It's free because it's the welcoming front door to Vidual Spaces, our permanent home for studios' work.
Do you use my files to train AI?
Never. We don't train AI or machine-learning models on your files — not ours, not anyone else's. We move your files and forget them.
Where are my files stored?
On EU-hosted hardware in Amsterdam. Vidual Send is built in Oxford and hosted in the EU, so your files don't get shipped off to the US.
How long do the files last?
Four days. After that they're automatically and permanently deleted — there's no way for us to hold on to them.
Is it private and secure?
Files travel over encrypted connections, get one automated malware scan, and are reachable only via their unguessable link. We don't sell, mine, or profile your data, and we claim no rights over what you send.
Do I need an account?
No. Just drop your files and send. The first time you send from a browser we ask you to confirm your email once — after that it's frictionless.
What's the music about?
While your files upload, you can choose to hear trending tracks from independent, unsigned artists on Audius — streamed straight from them, with a way to follow them a click away. We're musicians, based in Oxford, and lifting up unsigned acts is our small way of giving back. Nothing autoplays and nothing tracks your taste; press play only if you fancy it.
